This spell conjures dozens of magically enchanted adamantine slivers and shards and launches them into the target area, impaling everything within a 20’x20’ with deadly piercing attacks! Every creature caught in the area of effect suffers1d8 points of damage per caster level (max 15d8) as they are slashed and pierced by flying metal. The shards count at +3 weapons in regards to overcoming damage resistance. The magical shards affect all corporeal creatures, including constructs, but only deal ½ damage against elementals and incorporeal creatures (they save for ¼ damage). The material component for this spell is a shard of adamantine that costs no less than 250gp, it is consumed in the casting.
